Do you believe in magic?
This month's Book Club print “Charmed” was designed to take your child to a magical world where anything can happen. We encourage you to cuddle up with your little one, find a new book & nurture their imagination.
We believe creativity and imagination can help change the world if we allow it. Albert Einstein himself said, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination”. One of the greatest things we can do for our children is read books to them, igniting their imagination & sparking their creativity.
Here are a few of our top picks for this month.
- “Be bold, baby: J.K. Rowling” by Alison Oliver. It's never too early to encourage your little ones with inspirational quotes from a bold woman. This book is filled with beautiful illustrations, inspirational quotes and powerful directives from one of our favorite authors, J.K Rowling. This book is suitable for preschool and up and is available as a board book.
- “The ABC’s of D&D” by Ivan Norman and Caleb Cleveland. This book will both teach your child the alphabet as well as introduce them to the world of Dungeons & Dragons. The artwork alone will take them on a magical adventure. This is a must read for all the gamers out there or anyone that just wants some interesting words to associate with each letter of the alphabet. This book is perfect for ages 3-7 and is hardcover.
- “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang: The Magic Car” by Ian Fleming. This book will take you and your children on a magical ride to a place where a car can talk, fly, swim & even stop criminals right in their tracks. This book is for a reading level of 9 years and up but would be a great book to read along with your kids. It is soft cover and contains black and white drawings throughout each chapter.
- "The Dreamland Express" by Brian Depetris. Every night you can board the Dreamland Express and be transported to anywhere and do anything you can imagine. This is a great bedtime book to help little one's drift off to sleep and fill their minds with happy thoughts. Beautifully illustrated and written in an easy to read rhyme this is sure to become a favorite.
